From wheel to engine
On September 20, the first lesson of this academic year of the «Carousel of directions» circle of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University on the topic «From a wheel to an engine» was held for students of grades 6-7!
During the journey through the world of modern technology, the students took part in various activities:
– a demonstration of gasoline and diesel engines – how the «heart» of the car is arranged
– an overview of the models of the power plant, transmission and chassis – what makes the car move
– analysis of various units, nodes and systems of a modern car – what usually hides under the hood – all this was carefully studied by young researchers
– Getting to know the real Tavria car with right-hand drive is a curiosity that you will rarely see on the roads of Ukraine
Students were accompanied by our experts – associate professor of the Department of Automobiles, Heat Engines and Hybrid Power Plants Vadim Kubich and head of the laboratory Anatolii Avramenko.
