Webinar «Building Bridges: Partner Search Strategies for Horizon Europe»

On April 29, the National Contact Point for Horizon Europe Research Infrastructures hosted a webinar «Building Bridges: Partner Search Strategies for Horizon Europe.» The event was organized in cooperation with the NCP for WIDERA — Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area.

The webinar was opened by Ihor Taranov, Head of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine. In his welcoming speech, he emphasized the importance of increasing the participation of Ukrainian scientists in the program, emphasizing the need to expand international cooperation for integration into the European Research Area.

Olha Sulema, PhD, Head of the WIDERA NCP, focused on key aspects of consortium formation. She provided recommendations on partner selection, role allocation in Horizon Europe projects, and identifying effective partnership building strategies.

Larysa Tumarchenko, a leading specialist of the National Research Council in the field of «Research Infrastructures», presented the capabilities of the EU Funding & Tenders portal as a tool for finding partners and participating in competitions. Participants learned about the practical aspects of navigating the platform, finding relevant competitions and partners, and submitting project proposals.

The event was attended by over 70 representatives of higher education institutions, scientific institutions and project offices from different regions of Ukraine. At the end of the webinar, participants had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and receive professional answers, which allowed them to better understand the mechanisms of participation in the Horizon Europe program.
