The solemn closing of the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Business Ecosystems: Sustainable Development» (BESD–2025)
From February 3 to 7, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Business Ecosystems: Sustainable Development» (BESD–2025) was held at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
More than 500 participants registered to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference Business Ecosystems: Sustainable Development 2025 (BESD–2025), including 344 authors who submitted their articles. The conference participants, in addition to Ukraine, are represented by many countries of the world: Azerbaijan, Canada, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Uzbekistan.
On February 3, the grand opening of the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Business Ecosystems: Sustainable Development 2025» (BESD–2025) took place, which brought together leading experts, scientists, business representatives and authorities to discuss the most pressing issues of sustainable development.
During the second day of the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Business Ecosystems: Sustainable Development 2025» (BESD 2025), three sections were held:
- Production Technologies Focused on Green Transition
- Digital Transformation, Modeling and Forecasting of Sustainable Development business ecosystems
- Forming human capital for innovation
On February 5, a round table «Development of business ecosystems: integration of business, education, science and government» was held
The main issues discussed by the participants:
- models of interaction between business, science, education and the state: best practices for integrating these sectors in the context of sustainable development; creating effective partnership mechanisms that allow each sector to contribute to the development of business ecosystems
- innovation and education for sustainable development
- the role of state policy in supporting the development of business ecosystems
- the role of innovation clusters and incubators
On February 6, a panel discussion «International project activities and academic mobility for sustainable development» was held, during which participants discussed important topics, including:
- international project initiatives and their contribution to sustainable development
- academic mobility and its role in strengthening global cooperation
- internationalization of scientific research and knowledge transfer for sustainable development
- the role of international partnership in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals
On February 6, a panel discussion for schoolchildren and students «My New Ukraine» was also held
In total, the following speakers made presentations: 27 young researchers from schools in Zaporizhzhia region and various higher education institutions. Their works covered a wide range of topics: ecology, energy, culture, transport, law, artificial intelligence, education, mathematics, psychology, media, economics, physics. This is not the first time that schoolchildren have participated in our scientific events – the best works selected by our experts during the autumn Science Night were presented at this conference.
