Ukrainian Youth Forum 2024: «Free to Dream»
On August 10-12, Assistant to the Rector Mariia Pavlenko and Law Faculty student Saveliy Uzhva-Sklyaruk took part in the Ukrainian Youth Forum 2024: «Free to Dream».
The forum participants worked on current issues of youth policy in groups divided by target audiences to take into account the proposals in the Concept of the State Targeted Social Program «Youth of Ukraine» for 2026-2030.
Our representatives joined the panel discussion «The Future of Youth Policy in Ukraine and Europe» with the participation of Tobias Flessenkemper, Head of the Youth Department of the Council of Europe.
They also took part in workshops and had the opportunity to communicate with the event’s partners and donors, including which were representatives of UNICEF, Hepatica Foundation, the Civic Engagement Promotion Program «Join!», UNDP in Ukraine, the National Democratic Institute, the International Republican Institute, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Foundation, the EGAP Ukraine Program, the EU4Youth IV: Youth Engagement and Empowerment Project, Democracy Reporting International Ukraine, the Council of Europe, which implements the Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III project.
High-ranking officials of Ukraine, including President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, solemnly congratulated the participants on Youth Day.
