Participation of representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic in the Academic Summer Conference at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund), Germany
In the last week of August, teachers of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University took part in the Academic Summer Conference 2024 at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund), Germany.
The event was attended by representatives of 21 universities from different countries of the world (Germany, Ukraine, Belgium, Lithuania, Norway, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, India, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Palestine, Pakistan, etc.). The event program included intercultural training, a seminar on cross-border projects, a workshop on organizing international projects, research discussions, as well as meetings of teams that are already working on implementing international educational projects.
As part of the grand opening ceremony of the event, a presentation of our university and the international educational project Erasmus+ WORK4CE «Cross-domain competencies for ensuring healthy and safe work in the 21st century» (619034-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP WORK4CE) was presented by Professor of the Department of Software Halyna Tabunshchyk.
Dean of the Faculty of Transport Oleksiy Kuzkin presented a report on «Public Transit Operation During Pandemic Outbreaks» as part of the event «Research Conversations», and also took part in the coordination meeting of participants of the DAAD InduTwin@scale project «Strategic Partnership on the Twin Principle» (https://www.fh-dortmund.de/projekte/fis.import.proj.de.194.php?loc=en).
During the event «Market of Opportunities», Head of the Educational and Methodological Department Andriy Parkhomenko discussed with representatives of partner universities the features of teaching such educational programs, the possibilities of academic mobility and double diplomas. Associate Professor of the Department of Software Angelika Parkhomenko discussed with representatives of universities from India and Peru the opportunities for foreign students to study at the Department of Software and advertised the master’s program «Artificial Intelligence Systems».
The Academic Summer Conference 2024 became a platform for exchanging experience and communicating with representatives of different countries, universities and faculties, and also helped to understand what is happening in various international projects and find new opportunities for the successful and sustainable development of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University.
