Interesting about the modern world – new circles of the Children and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic»
On September 24, classes began in two circles of DUNU: «School of Drone Operators» for students in grades 8–9 and «3D Printing in Mechanical Engineering» for students in grades 8–11 in offline format.
During the training, students will study the types of drones, their structure, principles of flight and control, but from the first meeting, children will pilot drones, take photos and videos from a bird’s eye view.
Students who chose the circle «3D Printing in Mechanical Engineering» gain fundamental knowledge and practical skills in the field of 3D printing. After just a few classes, they will make their first attempts to implement their own ideas and projects in the field of mechanical engineering. Despite the technical focus of the group, modern methods will also contribute to the development of creative abilities.
On September 26, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University hospitably opened its doors to students of grades 8–10 of Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 23 and Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 107, who were interested in studying in the modular group «Integrated STEM». This group was organized in cooperation between DYUNU and the Center for Technical and Technological Education «Polit».
The students attended the first classes of two modules: «Young Lawyer» and «Software That Makes Money». In an interactive form, schoolchildren learned about the legal aspects of the modern world, in particular, the issues of protecting human rights and intellectual property, and family law.
The main focus of the module «Software that makes money» is activities in the field of design, modeling and production, which can become the start of financial independence and the basis of a future specialty.
We open the world of modern knowledge, technologies and opportunities for the youth of Zaporizhzhia!
