Training with representatives of the patrol police within the project «Try it in safety»
On October 22, in the youth hub «FREETIME» on the basis of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, a useful and rich training was held with representatives of the patrol police within the framework of the «Try it Safely» project. The training was organized by the student self-government and the students’ trade union committee.
Students participating in the event received valuable knowledge and practical first aid skills from experienced instructors.
We started by discussing the specifics of patrol police work: young people learned about the daily challenges that patrol officers face and what personal and professional qualities are needed to join the ranks of the police.
Practical exercises were of particular interest: the participants learned how to act in emergency situations on the roads. The main emphasis is on providing assistance to victims with spinal injuries, a task that requires special precision and care.
The instructor also emphasized the importance of knowledge about mine danger, explaining how to behave in conditions of risk and avoid dangerous situations.
During the training, students actively participated in practicing first aid techniques – there was an atmosphere of concentration. Now our young people know how to act when every second counts.
This training was a reminder of how valuable a quick and thoughtful response can be. This is not just training, but a contribution to a safe future where everyone helps each other at a critical moment.
