Scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists
The Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University accepts applications for scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists and Information on the scientific results of the applicant for the award of a scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists until March 14 inclusive.
Scholarships are awarded by decision of the Presidium of the Committee for a period of two years and are paid to scholarship holders at the place of their main work (study) in addition to their official salary, nominal or ordinary (regular) academic scholarship, various additional payments and allowances.
According to the Regulation approved by the Resolution, persons nominated for scholarships must meet the definition of the term «young scientist», specified in the Law of Ukraine «On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities».
The age of persons nominated for scholarships cannot exceed the age specified for young scientists by the Law of Ukraine «On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities» at the time of their nomination for participation in the scholarship competition.
Scientists, scientific and pedagogical workers, postgraduate students, associate professors, doctoral candidates, other young scientists of scientific institutions, organizations, higher education institutions may be nominated for scholarships.
Nominations of persons for scholarships are carried out at the place of their main work (study) by scientists (scientific, scientific-technical, technical) councils of scientific institutions, organizations, higher education institutions and national branch academies of sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Council) upon the presence of written recommendations from at least two doctors of sciences, personally familiar with scientific achievements and abilities of the young scientist. The decision on nomination is made at a meeting of the Council by secret ballot, provided that at least two-thirds of the Council members present voted in favor of it.
The competition for scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists will be held in the National Electronic Scientific Information System (hereinafter referred to as the System).
