Students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University attended a master class on painting shoppers
On June 5, a master class on painting shoppers «Package! Go to the bag!» was held at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Institute, dedicated to World Environment Day. The holiday of creativity and environmental awareness for students was organized by the scientific library together with the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and student self-government.
The event was moderated by Karina Boyko, a senior teacher of fine arts at Zaporizhzhia Children’s School of Arts No. 1 and a member of the Zaporizhzhia Association of Artists «Kolorit».
During the master class, participants talked about a global environmental disaster — plastic pollution of the planet. Participants watched the video «Plastic — a brilliant invention or a global problem?», which became an important reminder of how dangerous a familiar plastic bag from a supermarket can be.
Ms. Karina prepared drawing templates and helped the participants master new painting techniques. The students showed creativity and imagination: they created unique designs for shoppers that would be a great alternative to plastic bags.
A master class on painting eco-bags is an important step towards conscious consumption for the benefit of the future.
Thank you to everyone who joined the master class!
