Students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management are among the winners of the Ukrainian Rowing Championship!
From June 18 to 21, the Ukrainian Rowing Championship among youth under 23 years of age was held at the Zenit Sports Center (Trukhaniv Island) in Kyiv, where students of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University demonstrated high results and replenished the university’s collection of awards.
In the two-scull sculls without a rudder, the champion of Ukraine was Maksym Tishchenko, a student of the UFKS-415sp group, who together with Oleksandr Lugeria (Cherkasy region) won the gold medal.
In the four-scull sculls, Maksym Tishchenko became the silver medalist of the championship.
The athletes also won silver medals in the eight-man team with a coxed, where together with Maksym Tishchenko, a student of the UFKS-415 group Bohdan Borzonok performed.
Maksym Tishchenko won another silver medal in the eight-man team with a coxed (8+ mix) competition.
