Strategic session of heads of higher education institutions
On March 1, a two-day strategic session of heads of higher education institutions began on the basis of Yurii Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University.
The strategic session is devoted to consideration of the priority tasks of pedagogical education and prospects for its development.
Rector of Chernivtsi National University Roman Petryshyn opened the session, congratulated all participants of the strategic session, emphasized the importance of such meetings and discussion of issues related to the development of education in Ukraine.
Ruslan Zaparanyuk, Head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, gave a welcome speech.
About the issue of strategic development of pedagogical and higher education in general, about the need to discuss the state of pedagogical education and possible ways of development even in war conditions, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Serhiy Shkarlet, pointed out.
Mykhailo Veselskyi, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Radovel Biotechnological Lyceum, was invited to the discussion. He spoke about the promising experience of the new Ukrainian school with an individual approach to the student, mutual understanding and mutual respect. About the need to develop a modern school that gives not just knowledge, but the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in everyday life. He emphasized the need for a creative approach to the learning process, the implementation of the educational process in combination with an activity approach. Education in students of the desire to be educated through the acquisition of the necessary competencies.
Vasyl Kremen, head of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and Yurii Balanyuk, head of the National Qualification Agency, made a speech.
Andrii Vitrenko, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, presented the project «Improving higher education in Ukraine for the sake of results». In his report, he defined the tasks, stages of project implementation, and criteria for the participation of ZVO.
The performance of the children’s collective «Repel the children» about military aggression and the indomitability of the Ukrainian nation was very touching.
