«STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» teaches and inspires!
On March 10, the first open webinar was held as part of this year’s business ideas competition «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» on the topic «Entrepreneurship: motivation for entrepreneurial activity, generation of business ideas».
The president of the Investhub Club Oles Varenyk shared his experience with the contestants. The participants willingly discussed issues of motivation, work planning, learned ways to prevent burnout and overcome the fear of taking risks in business, analyzed examples of effective investment and successful commercialization of scientific and creative developments, and reflected on the concepts of success, inspiration, and environment.
During the webinar, there was a sincere interest and involvement in the dialogue. The meeting turned out to be interesting and useful! We are sincerely grateful to Mr. Oles for his openness and valuable experience!
The business idea competition «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» has been held for the third year for all those who have a business idea and seek its support, and this year is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
Among the main tasks of the competition are to promote the realization of the abilities of gifted youth, popularize scientific achievements and stimulate innovative entrepreneurship, and strengthen ties between educational institutions and employers.
To prepare presentations of their business ideas, contestants undergo training consisting of five webinars. During the webinars, experts share their experience and knowledge on entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, and protection of intellectual property rights and give recommendations on how to clearly and convincingly present a business idea and how it can be developed and implemented.
The Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University organizes training together with partners – the State Organization «Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations» (IP-Office), the National IP&Innovations Hub and the Network of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC).
