Become a donor! Save a life!
It was under this slogan that on October 16-17, with the support of the administration and the trade union committee of ZNTU students, Donor Day was held within the walls of our famous Machine. The event, which has long become traditional for us, did not leave indifferent almost 370 students! It is nice to observe the trend of increasing the number of donors each time – over these two days, 301 students and three employees of our university donated blood! Unfortunately, some students were not allowed to donate blood, but the fact that they expressed a desire to selflessly help those who really need it is worthy of great respect.
Our university never stays away from actions related to blood donation. In addition to the traditional Donor Days of ZNTU (in spring and autumn), our students are regular participants in charity donor marathons, during which they donate blood for children with cancer and patients of city hospitals.
Just think – how many people have had a chance to live longer thanks to the noble deeds of other donors. After all, donation is based not only on medical needs, but also on moral sources – kindness, generosity and mercy.
It is gratifying that our donors are aware of their great responsibility to those they can save. After all, a donor must closely monitor their health in order to be able to share what you cannot buy in any pharmacy or produce in any pharmaceutical factory, but without which life is impossible – your blood.
Dear donors! We are proud of your act and thank you for your demonstrated humanity, nobility and initiative!
