«Try yourself in the profession»: Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic in the schools of the city!

This week we visited Zaporizhzhia Lyceum «Alternative», Zaporizhzhia Specialized School #7, Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum «Perspektiva» and Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum #23 to help students feel like real specialists in various fields!

Faculty of Social Sciences – schoolchildren tried themselves in the role of journalists: they took turns conducting interviews, and also talked to the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper.

Faculty of Business Technology and Economics – discussed their first earned money, figured out who they are – managers or entrepreneurs, and learned business secrets.

Faculty of Law – through the fairy tales «The Snow Queen» and «Thumble», students got acquainted with the Criminal Code of Ukraine and felt themselves in the role of lawyers and prosecutors.

Faculty of Humanities – in the format of the exciting game «Alias», participants pumped up their translation skills.

Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management – schoolchildren competed in a game of darts and received prizes for the most accurate throws.

Faculty of mechanical engineering – students learned the principles of lifting devices and even tried to create their own mechanism.

Faculty of Computer Science and Technology – developed a smartwatch project: from idea to design and found out how many specialists are needed to create it.

Faculty of Information Security and Electronic Communications – introduction to drones, their capabilities and control principles.

Faculty of Electrical Engineering – on models of solar cells, students tested different types of connections and measured the power of electrical devices.

Department of Transport – analyzed the structure of the car and the rules of the road, which every future driver will need.
