Cooperation with the University «Gdansk Polytechnic» (Poland)
As part of the international cooperation agreement signed in May 2021 between the two powerful educational institutions of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University and Gdańsk Polytechnic University (Poland), an online meeting of the deans of the two higher education faculties took place.
Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation of Gdańsk Polytechnic Doc. hub Eng., Prof. Miroslav Voloshyn supported the initiative of the dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, Ph.D. Mykola Leonidovych Antonov.
The meeting was scheduled and held on June 25, 2021. The meeting was also attended by the deputy dean for the development of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics doc.hab from the Gdańsk Polytechnic. Eng., Prof. Marek Oles and doc.hab., prof. Krystyna Gomulka.
It is with the support of Professor Krystyna Gomulka as the head of the Oriental Studies Institute of the Gdańsk Polytechnic and the head of the international department of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, Doctor of Economics, Assoc. Plynokosa Dmytro Dmytrovych and a meeting of the heads of the two faculties took place.
The guests made presentations of their university, told about the history of the institution, scientific directions of the Gdańsk Polytechnic and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics. For his part, Antonov Mykola Leonidovych, dean of the electrical engineering faculty of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, also welcomed the guests and thanked them for participating in the joint meeting. The presentation of the faculty was presented by Ph.D. Assoc. Kazurova Alina Yevgenivna.
After mutual exchange of information about educational institutions, the participants of the meeting discussed possible cooperation options for both faculties, including the possibility of receiving double diplomas. The first step in cooperation is participation in the project «Night of Science 2021» initiated by the head of the EPA Department of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Andrii Volodymyrovych Pirozhko. Colleagues from the Gdańsk Polytechnic accepted the invitation to participate in the future project with interest.
