A series of trainings for teachers from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University

Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic held intensive trainings for teachers of schools in Zaporizhzhia and the region. Together with our specialists, they found new tools for implementing the modern educational process!

We started with a lecture by Professor Andrii Karpenko, where teachers learned to use practical methods of integrating entrepreneurial approaches into the educational process and creating conditions for the development of students’ business initiatives. Special attention was paid at the training to the basics of project management: planning, time management and resource provision.

Associate professor of the department of foreign philology and translation Viktoriya Horlacheva during the training «Creating CLIL materials using AI for teaching foreign languages» presented to teachers ways to make foreign language lessons interactive, interesting and technological. Teachers learned how to create materials with an eye on cross-curricular connections, how to effectively use media resources and, most importantly in today’s world, how to use AI to create unique and effective educational materials.

3D modeling training led by senior teacher Serhiy Tanchenko turned into a real master class for teachers who want to add innovation to their lessons. Teachers worked with Carveco and SolidWorks programs, learning to build reliefs, create parts for assemblies and prepare them for production on CNC machines. During practical classes, training participants felt like designers and tried to manage real engineering processes.
