Development of cooperation with the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (P. PORTO)
On June 3, representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic met with colleagues from the School of Management and Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ESTG P. PORTO) – President of ESTG, Professor Luis Lima and Vice-President of ESTG, Head of the Department of Internationalization and Research Cooperation, Professor Marisa Ferreira.
Headed by Rector Viktor Hreshta, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic was represented by Head of the Center for Internationalization and International Cooperation Alina Kazurova, Head of the Project Activity Department Mariya Pavlenko, and Director of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» Olena Nazarova.
The Rector Viktor Greshta and President Luis Lima delivered welcoming remarks. During their speeches, the importance of expanding educational and scientific cooperation was emphasized.
The participants presented their educational institutions and their main areas of activity. They discussed potential partnerships: joint scientific projects, academic mobility, in particular in the areas of management and business, law, logistics and transport, cybersecurity, information technologies, industrial engineering. They agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation and hold a series of further meetings in specific areas.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University already successfully cooperates with the School of Engineering (ISEP). We are confident that building new ties with the School of Management and Technology (ESTG) will strengthen our friendship with the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.
