Regional Forum «Career Start. New Opportunities for Youth»

On July 24, students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University took part in the regional forum «Career Start. New Opportunities for Youth», organized by the Ukrainian Youth Fund jointly with UNICEF with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

The event was attended by the city’s student youth, specialists from the Department of Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, business representatives, employers and the State Employment Service.

A panel discussion «Career Start for Youth: Challenges and Opportunities» was held within the framework of the forum, during which representatives of business and the public gave young people advice on professional growth and discussed the difficulties young people face in finding employment.

Representatives of the Ukrainian Youth Fund introduced young specialists and employers to the program «Career Start. Youth Guarantee Program». This initiative will allow students and graduates to find their first job, and employers to get promising specialists.

During the practical part, our students gained skills in preparing an effective resume and received tips for a successful interview.

The Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University has an Employment Assistance Center that helps students and graduates of the university in solving issues of temporary and permanent employment, as well as finding a job after graduation.
