A project of scientific seminars within the framework of the DFG program «Initiating international cooperation» at the University of Stuttgart
On December 12, the project of scientific seminars within the framework of the DFG program «Initiating International Cooperation» was launched at the University of Stuttgart.
On the basis of the Institute of Robust Power Semiconductor Systems of the University of Stuttgart, joint scientific seminars have started within the framework of the DFG program «Initiation of International Cooperation» on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Faculty of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies of the University of Stuttgart and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the National University «Zaporizka Polytechnic». The project is financed by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft — DFG).
Representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Lviv Polytechnic National Technical University of Ukraine, and Stuttgart University presented their universities, achievements in project activities, scientific interests and developments in the field of power electronic systems.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic is represented by a delegation consisting of: vice-rector Andrii Ivanchenko, dean of the electrical engineering faculty Mykola Antonov, head of the Center for Internationalization and International Cooperation Alina Kazurova, head of the department of electric drive and automation of industrial installations Andriy Pirozhok, associate professors and professors of the same department Yurii Krysan, Olena Nazarova, Volodymyr Osadchiy, Eduard Kulinych, Mykhailo Polyakov and Andriy Karpenko.
During the university presentations, Professor Ingmar Kalfas was presented with a certificate of appreciation by Viktor Greshta, rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, for strengthening cooperation with the University of Stuttgart, for a significant contribution to the development of international cooperation, for promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of digitalization and internationalization, and for supporting Ukrainian students and teachers.
The program of the event includes a series of workshops, theoretical and practical works, discussions with the aim of preparing joint educational and research proposals and projects.
