We continue the classes of the «Carousel of Directions» group!
On October 5, an online class «Secret Materials» dedicated to Lawyer’s Day was held for the youngest students of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University!
Using examples from famous cartoons, schoolchildren studied and consolidated basic human rights.
The next secret that the students learned is related to shipping: the materials from which ships are made, the physical law of Archimedes, the reasons why such large and heavy vessels do not sink on water.
The schoolchildren conducted a full-fledged investigation into the disasters of the first aircraft. During the investigation, they learned the disadvantages of propeller aircraft and what devices eventually replaced them. They also got acquainted with the physical phenomenon of metal fatigue, and at the end of the class they identified the problem of aircraft crashes. Students were able to analyze disasters from the side of technical malfunctions: correct/incorrect choice of alloy, method of connection and manufacturing.
