The EU Delegation to Ukraine announces the recruitment for Euroschool 2021
The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine announces the recruitment of students and graduates of higher education institutions for the online module EU Study Days in Ukraine (Euroschools), which will be held in March-June 2021.
The project is designed for those who share European values, want to learn more about the European Union, as well as for those who have their own ideas and are looking for opportunities to implement them together with like-minded people. While studying at the Euroschool, young people will have the opportunity to meet leading speakers: diplomats and experts from the EU and Ukraine. The format of the training modules includes lectures, discussions, and live communication, which will allow participants to significantly improve their knowledge of the European Union and its cooperation with Ukraine.
12 online training modules of EU Study Days are planned for 2021. Euroschool participants will also present their own mini-projects aimed at promoting community interests, ideas of European integration, communication, prevention of disinformation, etc. These mini-projects will be implemented jointly with representatives of EU Networks (Euroclubs, EU Information Centers, Team Europe Ukraine experts, graduates of EU Study Days, Erasmus+, College of Europe).
Students and graduates of Ukrainian higher education institutions from all regions of Ukraine can become participants of Euroschool-2021, primarily in the following specialties: international relations, international and European law, European studies, international economics and trade, finance, business, political science, law, philosophy, history, sociology, cultural studies, journalism. In addition, students and graduates of other economic or technical specialties who are interested in European integration can participate.
Knowledge of English is mandatory. To participate in the selection, you must complete the application by 23:00 on March 1, 2021 at the link http://bit.ly/EUStudyDays2021
The selection will take place in two stages:
– Stage one – selection by questionnaires until March 5;
– Stage two – online test to test knowledge on European topics, as well as (if necessary) an online interview to test the level of English proficiency
The winners of the selection will be notified personally by email no later than March 10, 2021.
This year, the following training modules are provided:
1. Ukraine-EU relations.
2. Main components of Ukraine’s European integration: implementation of the Association Agreement, EU assistance, opportunities of EU programs.
3. Prevention of disinformation/fighting fakes.
4. Digitalization: EU policy, cybersecurity, digital rights.
5. European values and identity.
6. Green Deal and ecological transformation.
7. Regional development, local government reform and decentralization.
8. Eastern Partnership.
9. EU response to conflicts.
10. Migration and border management.
11. Building a career in the EU: skills and opportunities.
12. Information and communication policy.
Reference: EU Study Days in Ukraine is an educational project of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, launched in 2013. The alumni network already has over 1,400 people. The project aims to develop a network of graduates who are interested in European integration issues and jointly implement their own initiatives in various fields of activity. EU Study Days helps to find like-minded people who see the development of Ukraine as a European state.
