Representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University at the working meeting of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program
On June 26, representatives of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University took part in a working visit to the Dnipropetrovsk Polytechnic National Technical University, which they visited at the invitation of the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The visit took place within the framework of the implementation of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program – an initiative of the First Lady Olena Zelenska, and was also dedicated to the exchange of experience and the presentation of the achievements of higher education institutions in the field of psychosocial support.
The main speakers of the event were Oksana Zbitneva, Head of the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Andriy Vitrenko, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, and Nadiya Zadorozhna, Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic was represented at the meeting by Vice-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko and Coordinator of the Psychological Service Alena Sadykina. The experience of colleagues and innovative cases interested the Polytechnic delegates, because we are actively implementing an effective system of psychosocial support for students and employees. This ensures constant access to high-quality information about mental health and guaranteed professional help from highly qualified specialists.
The «How are you?» program is implemented at universities and inspires further development: open conversations, insights that we receive after student surveys, barrier-free access, correct communication, networking, and tours of the Polytechnic.
