Workshop on self-discovery and finding resources
On February 13, a psychological workshop on self-discovery and finding resources was successfully held by psychologists of the Center for Helping Survivors, which was co-organized by the Department of Psychology of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University.
Trainers of the workshop:
– Viktoriia Verteba — psychologist of the Center for Helping Survivors
– Tetyana Borodulkina — psychologist of the Center for Helping Survivors, associate professor of the Department of Psychology
During the workshop, with the help of art methods and metaphorical maps, the participants explored the mental state, got acquainted with exercises for self-soothing and self-help. The meeting took place in a calm and creative atmosphere.
«Thank you very much for this meeting and the opportunity to feel support when you need it! The exercise »I am in the form of a tree« penetrated to the depths of my soul. And the »Landscape of my life« technique helped to find a way out of a disturbing situation, inspired me to take further action and instilled hope for a better future. The exercise »My sensory supports« reminded me that happiness is nearby, you just have to look for it. The presenters of the workshop easily set up frank conversations and helped to get to know yourself better. Thank you for the opportunity to find a resource in this difficult time!», one of the participants shared her feedback.
Thank you to Zaporizhzhia Rescue Center for the opportunity to join the psycho-emotional support of adults and children during the war! Thank you everyone for your active participation!
The rescue center in Zaporizhzhia was created on the initiative of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, with the assistance of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, in partnership with UNFPA, the UN Population Fund in Ukraine, thanks to the financial support of the governments of Austria, Belgium, Spain, Sweden in cooperation with local authorities and the NGO «Association of Ambassadors of Ukraine».
