Valentyn Vasylevich Lunyov passed away
On May 23, an outstanding figure who prepared more than one generation of scientists passed away – Valentyn Vasylevich Lunyov. An Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, an academician of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, he is, without exaggeration, a Man with a capital letter, a symbol of an era of active and fruitful work for the benefit of the university.
More than one generation of scientists, professionals in their field, grew up under his leadership. He was a sincere, open person, always ready to help young people. He taught to appreciate the moments of life regardless of the situation and was an example for everyone who had the honor of being acquainted with him.
The loss of a loved one is a deep tragedy. We express our sincere condolences to the family of Valentyn Vasylyovych, we bow our heads in deep sorrow together with you.
He will forever remain in the history of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University as a person who devoted his entire life to working with youth, working in science. Future generations of students will always have the opportunity to touch the life story of this outstanding figure.
