Results of the meeting of the Academic Council of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University on August 27, 2024
On August 27, a meeting of the Academic Council of the university was held at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
At the meeting, the rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Viktor Greshta presented the university’s development plan for 2024–2025, outlined the main tasks and strategic goals. An effective management system, ensuring a distance education process with elements of blended learning with a gradual increase in the share of practical classes at the university, grant projects, infrastructure development. One of the priority areas is ensuring the quality of education, continuous development and improvement of work methods.
We have already achieved great success in scientific activities, our university, following the results of the competitive selection, was determined as a basic institution for the creation of the National Contact Point (NCP) within the framework of the EU program «Horizon Europe», we are working on the creation of the Science Park of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University to introduce into production science-intensive competitive high-tech products and direct coordinated actions to meet the needs of the domestic market and increase the export potential of Ukraine.
The rector also presented innovative projects that are already at the implementation stage – the European Digital Innovation Hub project within the framework of the EU Program «Digital Europe» (2021-2027), the «Energy Innovation Hub» project within the framework of the project «Reforms in the field of energy efficiency in Ukraine» and projects, which are planned to be implemented this academic year – the creation of a digital laboratory with Crédit Agricole Bank, the Regional Innovation Hub project, the creation of the Polytechnic Innovation IT Cluster.

Today, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University has strong ties with foreign partners; we are already working on implementing a double degree program and expanding academic mobility programs. The university must develop, and we must provide a comfortable educational environment for employees and students.
During the meeting, the following was also discussed:
- election of heads of departments by competition
- amendments to the structure of the university
- work plan of the Academic Council of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic for 2024/2025 academic year.
- new edition of the Regulations on the organization of the educational process at NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic»
- amendments to the educational programs and curricula of NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» and separate structural divisions of the university
- recommendations for the publication of scientific and educational publications
- Regulations on the project activity department of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University
- recognition of the results of advanced training
During the meeting of the Academic Council, Oleksiy Voskoboynik received a professor’s certificate; Evelina Bazhmina and Serhiy Samoilyk received an associate professor’s certificate; Vladyslav Mishchenko received a candidate of sciences diploma. Congratulations on your achievements!
Tetyana Pulina and Halyna Kyrychek were also solemnly awarded the badge «For impeccable work» of the 3rd degree. Olena Nazarova received the badge «Excellent education student». Dmytro Pavlenko received the badge «For outstanding achievements». Hryhorii Bukanov and Vira Yakovleva received the gratitude of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Mykola Antonov, Alina Kazurova, Oleksandr Shram and Yurii Polezhayev received a diploma from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. With gratitude from the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration – to Olena Lyschenko. With a diploma from the Executive Committee of the Zaporizhzhia City Council – to Anton Fasolyak and Vadym Tomilin. Congratulations to everyone on the fair recognition of your merits!
