Results of the meeting of the Scientific Council of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University on November 26, 2024
On November 26, a meeting of the Academic Council of the university took place.
The following topics were discussed during the meeting:
- changes in the structure of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University
- results of the entry campaign in 2024
- procedure for awarding the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and annulment of the decision of the one-time specialized academic council of the National University «Zaporizka Polytechnic» on awarding the degree of Doctor of Philosophy
- state and development prospects of the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Design
- approval of the plan for improving the qualifications of scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers for 2025
- recommendations for publication of scientific and educational publications
Vadim Shalomeev, vice-rector for scientific work, presented a report on his work in office to the members of the Academic Council.
University employees were also solemnly awarded: thanks from the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration — the head of the educational laboratory of the department of machine parts and lifting and transport mechanisms Olena Cherkashin; thanks to the associate professor of the Department of Philology and Translation Yurii Polezhaev within the framework of the Sixteenth International Exhibition «Innovation in Modern Education». Nataliia Vysotska, the head of the scientific research department of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, received the Badge «For impeccable work» of the III degree.
