Results of the guest online lecture «Crisis interventions in working with loss»
On May 16, 2023, the Department of Social Work and Psychology of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University organized and held a guest online lecture «Crisis interventions in working with loss».
The guest lecturer – Kateryna Rakytyanska, crisis psychologist of the Center for Helping the Rescued, Gestalt therapist, family, group, art psychotherapist, graduate of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University OP 053 Psychology (Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine) – told the participants about crisis and loss in human life, about the basic stages of experiencing grief when losing a loved one; thoroughly and meaningfully, based on numerous examples from her own practice, described crisis interventions at different stages of experiencing loss.
The lecture was held at a high professional level and aroused interest among the present specialists (psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, etc.) and students.
The guest lecture was held as part of the study by master’s students-psychologists of the academic discipline «Crisis Psychology» (OP 053 Psychology) in cooperation with the Department of Social Education and Social Work, Mykhailo Dragomanov USU, Kyiv (OP Social Work, Social Pedagogy and Social and Educational Work with Children and Youth).
The online lecture was attended by more than 90 guests from different parts of Ukraine (Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kremenets, Lviv, Marhanets, Nizhyn, Rivne, Ternopil, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, etc.).
During the week, each guest will receive an electronic certificate of lecture participant from the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
