The final meeting of the Horizon Europe Office: the participation of representatives of the Research Infrastructures NCP of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University
Representatives of the NCP «Research Infrastructures», created on the basis of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, the head of the NCP Dmytro Pavlenko and leading specialist Larisa Tumarchenko took part in the large-scale final meeting of the Horizon Europe Office, which took place on December 9-10 in Kyiv.
The first day began with a welcome speech by the Director General of the Science Development Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine, Hryhoriy Mozolevych, and a presentation of the annual achievements of the Coordination Center. Chief specialist Taisia Simochko shared successful cases of work of national contact points.
Association Director Ronald de Bruin revealed the secrets of successful scientific collaboration in Europe within the framework of the COST information day for Ukraine — a joint event of the COST Association and the National Research Fund of Ukraine — and specialist Salome Moesi-Hacon held a master class on submitting applications.
The second day was devoted to practical aspects of participation in the program. The participants analyzed in detail the project evaluation procedure, the peculiarities of lump sum financing and the intricacies of the formation of international consortia.
During a practical workshop on the preparation of project applications, the participants practiced the skills of analyzing the competition topic and creating a project concept.
