The first graduation of students of the «Software that Makes Money» group

On May 8, the summarization of the studies of the «Software that Makes Money» group of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» took place.

The young graduates were solemnly congratulated by Vice-Rector Ruslan Kulikovsky, Director of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University Olena Nazarova, Head of the Department of Metal-Cutting Machine Tools and Tools Mykhailo Frolov, and Director of «Carveco» Robert Newman.

Robert Newman expressed his admiration for the students who are interested in modern technologies and diligently acquire practical skills with professional software. I wished the children a successful completion of their studies at school and the opportunity to become students of one of the leading universities in Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

Under the guidance of Serhiy Tanchenko, a senior lecturer at the Department of Metal-Cutting Machine Tools and Tools, the students learned the basics of 3D modeling, learned how to create reliefs from ready-made raster images and images that they created independently. They learned how to edit ready-made projects, and got acquainted with the basic concepts of programming CNC machines.

The group’s studies ended with a competition of graduation works. The originality of the idea and the set of practical skills for working with Carveco software were assessed. The authors of the best works were Oleh Khivrych (Lyceum «Logos»), Milana Revutska (Zaporizhzhia Lyceum No. 105) and Oleksandra Yakovleva (Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum «Vybir»). All students who successfully completed their studies received certificates, and the winners of the competition also received souvenirs from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University.

We are confident that the graduates of the «Software that Makes Money» group are future students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University.
