The first day of the Forum «Skills of the Future. Ukraine»

On October 12, the forum «Skills of the Future. Ukraine» began with the support of the National Qualifications Agency under the auspices of the European Year of Skills.

The forum was opened by Viktor Greshta. He spoke about the plans of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic team for activities in the public sector, and also thanked our partners for their quick response to modern educational challenges and emphasized our readiness for various types of cooperation.

Welcome words were also delivered by the Head of the National Qualifications Agency Yurii Balanyuk, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Olena Zhuk, President of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers) «Potential» Oleksandr Holovko, President of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Volodymyr Shamilov, Director of the Department of Education and Science of ZOVA Liudmyla Bukharina, and Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Yuliia Pogrebnyak.

The day was dedicated to the topic «Cooperation between education and the labor market in modern conditions.» During the plenary session, the Chairman of the National Qualifications Agency Yurii Balanyuk, members of the National Qualifications Agency Yurii Rashkevych and Taras Mandziy spoke. They spoke about qualification centers, their creation, accreditation, qualification frameworks, and the procedure for developing and approving professional standards.

The discussion «Problematic Issues of the Labor Market» was attended by the Head of the State Enterprise «Ivchenko-Progress» Ihor Kravchenko, Head of PJSC «Zaporizhstal» Roman Slobodyanyuk, Director of Human Resources Management of PJSC «Motor Sich» Vitaliy Khrol, Director of the Regional Employment Center Iryna Dudnik, and Director of LLC «Triada LTD KO» Kyrylo Krasnoselsky.
