Congratulations on winning the first round of the Quest Marathon 2024

Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University took part in the intellectual-patriotic Quest Marathon 2024 «Do we know Taras Shevchenko?» (creativity, life, world Shevchenko) on the occasion of the 210th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko.

This quest marathon is organized for the seventh year in a row by the T.G. Institute of Literature Shevchenko National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine together with the All-Ukrainian Charitable Cultural and Scientific Foundation.

The goal of the intellectual-patriotic event is to involve broad segments of society, and primarily young people, in an in-depth familiarization with the narratives of the multifaceted creativity of the Ukrainian writer.

The 2024 Quest Marathon consists of three rounds. The first online round lasted from March 9 to April 3, during which participants answered difficult questions.

The winners of the first round were announced on April 15, and the second online round began on the same day, which will last until May 12.

A second-year student of our university from the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Design, Viktoria Kovtun, under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training Halyna Onufrienko, won the first round of the Quest Marathon 2024. Having scored the maximum possible number of points for written answers, Viktoria Kovtun became one of the absolute winners of the first stage of the Quest Marathon 2024.
