Overview of living conditions in the student dormitory of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University No. 3

On June 3, rector Viktor Greshta, vice-rector Andrii Ivanchenko and campus director Vadym Dubyna checked the living conditions in the student dormitory of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University No. 3.

The manager of the hostel Nataliia Bozhko introduced the results of the recently completed works. The roof of the dormitory was repaired at the university’s expense with the involvement of a contractor. Materials provided by the «Right to Defense» charitable foundation were also used.

Within the framework of the project «Conditional financial assistance to collective centers» from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the old windows were replaced with metal-plastic ones in the administrative premises of the dormitory. With fruitful cooperation with the IOM, the work on the modernization of the electrical networks of the living rooms of the dormitory was continued and the lighting on the first and second floors in the corridors of the dormitory was replaced. All this ensured a comfortable stay for the residents of the dormitory.

Also, they visited the room for the development and useful leisure of the residents of the dormitory. The International Organization for Migration procured the necessary materials for repair work and furnishing the room. Works and arrangements were carried out with the participation of the administrative and economic part and employees of the student campus.

During the productive meeting, further development and a vector for improving the living conditions of the dormitory were determined.
