NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» at the Summit of Progressive Educators 2024
On December 7, teachers and students of our university joined the Summit of Progressive Educators 2024, which took place in Kyiv. This event became a unique platform for discussing the challenges and prospects of Ukrainian education with the participation of international partners, top experts and youth leaders.
Panel discussion «Overcoming educational losses through collaboration: what is the role of international partners?» The speakers of the event impressed with their in-depth analysis of the situation in education and practical cases:
- Artem Shaipov, Legal Advisor of the USAID Justice for All Program, told how international partners support the restoration of educational opportunities in Ukraine
- Svitlana Shytikova, Erasmus+UA Project Coordinator, gave examples of successful cooperation between Ukraine and Europe
- Olexander Khimenko, Head of the Secretariat of the National Agency for Higher Education, presented mechanisms for improving the quality of higher education in wartime
- Alisa Sukhikh and Kyrylo Demchenko outlined the prospects for youth leadership in education
- Phil Noble, a world-renowned expert on the use of the Internet in the public sector (politics, media, government, and civic initiatives), shared unique approaches to the digital transformation of education
- Antony Beumer, Platform Coordinator «S&D Group» in the European Parliament (Brussels), inspired new ideas for international cooperation
Strategic session on December 8: our team joined the strategy with the NGO «Progressilny» for 2025.
