Scientific and historical conference «Pages of the history of technical education of Zaporizhzhia»
On November 13, a scientific and historical conference dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University and the 90th anniversary of the Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical College was held. The conference united the powerful centers of education and science of Zaporizhzhia, full of rich history, glorious traditions and a common goal — to educate the intellectual elite of Ukraine!
The organizers and coordinators of the event were the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training of the Faculty of Humanities and the Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical Vocational College.
The moderator is Tetyana Bilenko, associate professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and ZMP.
Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Tetyana Khitrova, director of ZEFK Ruslan Koshelyuk, head of the Department of Scientific Work of Students Snizhan Vychuzhanin addressed the participants with welcoming words.
More than 150 participants — scientists, teachers and students of both institutions — took part in the conference. The program featured thorough research devoted to the history of the formation of technical education in the Zaporizhzhia region, the figures of its creators, and the achievements of academic units.

The special warmth and creative mood of the event was provided by:
– speeches by Volodymyr Chop and Tetyana Katysh, associate professors of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and ZMP
– interactive game «Let’s write poetic reviews about our native alma mater», organized by associate professor Olha Chumachenko
Participants created poetic dedications full of love, gratitude and pride for their educational institutions.
Art numbers became a real decoration of the event:

The conference was held in a creative, inspired atmosphere of unity, love for native educational institutions, respect for their traditions and faith in the future of Ukrainian education.
