Science for Youth — 2024: Meet the Speakers

Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Head of the Scientist Support Office, Doctor of Law, Professor, Professor of the Department of Criminology of the National University «Odesa Law Academy» Olesya Vashchuk will reveal the topic «Portfolio of a Young Scientist: Skills and Competencies».

Wendy Sadler, Senior Lecturer in Science Communication at the School of Physics and Astronomy of Cardiff University (Great Britain), Founder of the social enterprise «Science Made Simple», will deliver a report «Scientific Communication: Why It’s Important and How to Present Your Opinion to a Non-Target Audience».

Topic «The Role of Student Science in Developing the Potential of Ukrainian Scientific Schools» will be highlighted by the Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Educational Work of NTU «Dnipro Polytechnic», Doctor of Geological Sciences, Associate Professor Ihor Nikitenko.

The Chairman of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Students, Young Scientists and Specialists of NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic», Doctor of Philosophy in specialty 122 «Computer Science», Senior Lecturer of the Department of Software Tools of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Sergiy Leoshchenko will speak on the topic «Writing Grant Applications for the Development and Implementation of Scientific and/or Innovative Projects».

Following the results of the forum, participants will be able to receive certificates for re-enrollment of learning outcomes obtained within the framework of informal education.
