Our enthusiasts are on guard of cleanliness and order!
Zaporizhzhia region is famous for many outstanding monuments, and among them our Children’s Railway occupies a special place. This is a unique complex that includes not only the educational building, but also a vast territory inhabited by unique residents. Of course, it requires constant care and maintenance, and students of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University gladly contribute to this.
Subbotniks have become traditional, which are held twice a year by employees of our «ZhD» together with Zaporizhzhia higher educational institutions. And «Mashynka» every year becomes perhaps the most active participant of each!
The morning of October 26 at the Children’s Railway began noisily. Enthusiastic students from Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy, Zaporizhzhia National University and Zaporizhzhia State Medical University gathered in front of the educational building. By the way, the «Mashinkivtsi» arrived in the largest number – about 150 students! Of course, there were distinguished guests: People’s Deputy of Ukraine Kartashov Ye.G., Director of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Center for Youth Labor Ryabenko Ye.M., Rector of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University Professor Belikov S.B. and Chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Youth Council, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of ZNTU Students Ivanchenko A.V. They congratulated the participants of the subbotnik, cheerfully encouraging them to work conscientiously and energetically. Interestingly, the Zaporizhzhia Children’s Railway itself is the product of student enthusiasm, and for 22 years in a row our youth has been maintaining cleanliness and order here.
Finally, the command «To work!» was sounded and the most important part of the subbotnik began. The students were divided into groups, given the necessary equipment and sent to various interesting objects: to the «Winter Garden», to the aquarium, the park and so on. Everyone worked hard and did their job as best as they could! After which, according to tradition, we were treated to field kitchen products and sent on a train excursion.
Once again, our young people had a great time with great benefit: they worked in the fresh air, chatted, got to know each other and made a great contribution to the development of the well-being of their native land! We are grateful to the ZNTU student government for such initiatives that make student life bright and unforgettable!
