Awards to Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic students for Volunteer Day
On December 5, a city event dedicated to International Volunteer Day was held in the FREETIME youth hub by the Department of Sports, Family and Youth of the City Council!
The executive committee of the city council ceremoniously awarded certificates of honor to volunteers from among the youth for active public activities and the development of the volunteer movement in the city of Zaporizhzhia, including Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic student Danylo Kogorod (E-314m).
The Department of Sports, Family and Youth of the City Council also awarded certificates to participants in the city project «Volunteer School» for developing socially important projects for the city of Zaporizhzhia. Among our students whose projects were highly appreciated:
- Andriy Tykhy (KNT–141) — social platform for informing Zaporizhzhia residents about cultural, educational and entertainment events «Inection»
- Kyrylo Teslenko (Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical Vocational College) — project «Nezlamny Hub: A Place for Youth and Assistance to the Military»
In the format of «Free Microphone», experienced volunteers talked about their projects, shared their experience and invited the city’s youth to join relevant initiatives.
At the Zaporizhzhia Regional Youth Center, during the event dedicated to the International Volunteer Day, the Department of Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration awarded Valerii Kofanov (student of the BK–912 group) and an assistant of the Department of Software Artem Tulenkov — for initiative, active volunteer work, civic position and on the occasion of International Volunteer Day.
