International Student Exchange «Student Unity Dialogue: Ukraine and Lithuania»
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic student Milena Kocheva represented Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic in a seven-day exchange of students from different parts of Ukraine and Lithuania in Vinnytsia and Kyiv.
This unique event brought together students from Ukraine and Lithuania to exchange experiences on strengthening student self-government bodies and to discuss future student initiatives.
Meeting with youth leaders, heads of student self-government bodies, the administration of Vinnytsia and Kyiv, excursions to various universities – the participants learned more about the unique opportunities for education and development in different regions of Ukraine.
They also visited Irpin and Bucha: they saw the consequences of the occupation, visited the State Tax University, which suffered significant destruction, as well as Vyshkilny Plast Center, where students learned about the center’s activities and met with a volunteer who helped people during the occupation of the Kyiv region.
And of course, students organized intercultural evenings and introduced each other to the customs, traditions, cuisine, dances, songs and even memes of Ukraine and Lithuania.
Together we are strong!
