This is an opportunity to remind humanity about the rational and frugal use of resources and energy, reducing the level of impact on the environment and increasing the chances of preserving the planet for future generations.
During the welcome meeting, Viktor Greshta, rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, together with Ella Slepyan, deputy mayor for executive bodies of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, discussed energy-saving initiatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic and local projects in which our students participate.
A master class on renewable energy sources «Green Gigawatt» was held for schoolchildren of the Energodar city territorial community as part of the «UPSHIFT» program in the Zaporizhzhia region with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the government of Japan.
