International scientific conference «Advanced & Novel Technologies — Interdisciplinary Collaboration on Materials Science 2025 (ANTICM-2025)
From February 25 to 27, the International Scientific Conference »Advanced & Novel Technologies — Interdisciplinary Collaboration on Materials Science 2025 (ANTICM-2025)« was successfully held on the basis of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
The conference was held in an online format and covered five key areas of materials science:
- metals and alloys
- ceramics and glass
- composite materials
- nanomaterials
- films and coatings
The international scientific conference was organized by the Department of »Physical Materials Science« of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University with the support of leading educational and scientific institutions: Lviv Polytechnic National University, Dnipro Polytechnic National University, Educational and Scientific Institute of Materials Science and Welding named after E.O. Paton of the National Technical University of Ukraine »Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Cardiff University (Great Britain), Institute of Materials Science of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Metinvest Polytechnic University, Ukrainian Materials Science Society named after I.M. Frantsevich and the Physico-Mechanical Institute named after G.V. Karpenka of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
More than 80 scientists from Ukraine, Great Britain, Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia and Slovakia took part in ANTICM-2025. More than 60 report abstracts and about 30 full-text scientific articles were presented. It is especially pleasing to note the active participation of young scientists who have demonstrated a high level of research.
According to the results of the conference, a decision was made on the expediency of holding ANTICM on a regular basis, which will contribute to the further development of international scientific cooperation in the field of materials science.
