Memorandum of Understanding between Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and the Israeli Trauma Coalition
On June 3, Viktor Greshta, rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, and Max Gondelberg, director of international cooperation programs of the Israeli Trauma Coalition, signed a memorandum of understanding. The meeting was also attended by Oleksandr Gershanov, the director of educational programs of the Israel Trauma Coalition and International Psycho-educational Projects, an international specialist in work with trauma and loss, an invited expert: Forbes, TV (Israel and Ukraine).
The Israeli Trauma Coalition is a non-governmental organization that unites specialists who specialize in crisis counseling. One of the priority areas of work of the Israeli trauma coalition is the training of specialists who work with people who have suffered as a result of war, natural disasters and other traumatic situations.
Specialists of the Israeli trauma coalition conduct training in the following areas:
- Psychological first aid trainings
- Training programs for working with the military
- Training programs on PTSD therapy
The main areas of cooperation between Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and the Israeli Trauma Coalition are:
- increasing the professional qualifications of university teaching staff through their training with Israeli specialists
- grant cooperation, the purpose of which is to create a resilience center on the basis of our university
- compatible scientific activity
