Memorandum of Understanding between the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH, the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and the NGO «School of Energy Efficiency»
On April 25, representatives of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, led by the rector Viktor Greshta, took part in the conference «Development of expert centers for the reconstruction of Ukraine based on energy innovation hubs.»
During the conference, a tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed between the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH, the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and the NGO «School of Energy Efficiency» on the implementation of joint program activities in Ukraine in the field of energy efficiency training, the introduction of training courses and materials for obtaining competencies in the field of energy efficiency, the development capacity of energy innovation hubs within the framework of the international technical assistance project «Promotion of energy efficiency and implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine».
The conference participants discussed the main achievements, developments and prospects for the implementation of the grant project, and also got acquainted with the results of the activities of energy innovation hubs in Dnipro, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi.
The event was organized by the NGO «School of Energy Efficiency», commissioned by the «Professional Qualifications» component of the project «Promotion of energy efficiency and implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine», which is implemented in Ukraine by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German government.
