Memorandum of Cooperation with the Department of Veterans Policy of the ZODA
On October 24, the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Viktor Hreshta, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the head of the Department for Veteran Policy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Olena Sorochenko.
During the meeting, areas of further cooperation were discussed:
– expanding opportunities for obtaining higher education and lifelong education for war veterans and their family members on the basis of the Polytechnic
– creating conditions for the effective integration of war veterans into the public life of the community
– joint career guidance work among active military personnel regarding admission to the Polytechnic in civilian specialties
– conducting socio-psychological trainings with war veterans, providing them with psychological support, conducting individual and group consultations, organizing their training to improve their level of knowledge in foreign languages, IT technologies
– joint scientific activities
