Memorandum on cooperation with the National Association of Advocates of Ukraine and the Council of Advocates of the Zaporizhzhia Region

On March 13, the rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, Viktor Greshta, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the National Bar Association of Ukraine and the Bar Council of the Zaporizhzhia Region.

During the meeting, the rector of the university Viktor Hreshta, acting Maksym Semenov, Chairman of the Bar Council of the Zaporizhzhia Region, and Dmytro Maistro, a member of the Bar Council of the Zaporizhzhia Region, discussed the preparation and implementation of joint events, projects and programs.

Our cooperation will include:
– the development of initiatives in the field of research on the history of Ukrainian advocacy
– the organization of practical training for those seeking education: internships by university students in law firms
– promotion of graduate employment.

An important area of interaction will also be the support and development of the scientific and practical laboratory «Advocate Activity», the functioning of the University Legal Clinic, as well as educational initiatives for young people, in particular the «Young Legalist» group for schoolchildren, which will contribute to the formation of legal culture and the popularization of the legal profession among the city’s schoolchildren.

Maksym Semenov presented Rector Viktor Hreshta with a thank you from the head of the National Association of Lawyers of Ukraine for supporting the development of the legal profession.

The signing of the memorandum opens up new opportunities for cooperation between the university and the professional legal community and will contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of law.
