Master classes «Green Energy»
On June 25–29, master classes «Green Energy» were held by the Department of Electrical Machines together with the Children’s and Youth Scientific University of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, prepared within the framework of the UPSHIFT program in the Zaporizhzhia region, which is implemented by the Public Organization «Cultural League of the East» with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Government of Japan.
The goal of the project is to spread motivation, knowledge and practical skills in the field of «green energy» among young people aged 14 to 24 in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
During the master classes, participants gained knowledge in the field of renewable energy sources, got acquainted with the operation of solar panels and wind generators, and acquired practical skills in their use. In addition, they took part in an interactive ecological game «Green Energy», where they solved thematic problems.
The participants interacted in a team of peers in an atmosphere of unity and friendship, developing independence, activity and initiative, the ability to formulate and solve problems.
