Ukrainian language master classes

For the second year in a row, teachers of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training have been actively participating in conducting master classes for students of schools in the Zaporizhzhia region. Associate professors of the department Kateryna Bondarchuk and Iryna Voronyuk held 16 classes with future applicants during November-December.

At the meetings, teachers introduced students to the interesting facts of the Ukrainian language, in particular, the peculiarities of word stress, lexical diversity, grammatical specificity of the language, and spelling innovations.

Some topics have even been developed in several versions – according to the age of the students, because requests for meetings with teachers of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic are growing: not only school graduates but also secondary school students are joining. Workshops with them take place in the form of a game, in a dynamic interactive format.

The teachers held master classes in the following schools: No. 98, No. 97, No. 107, No. 46, No. 47 Orikhiv Lyceum «Suzir’ya». Master classes are always accompanied by bright presentations, children are happy to join the dialogue and lively discussion.

In addition to the Ukrainian language classes themselves, career guidance work is carried out, during which students are introduced to the specialties of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, the features of the educational process and the organization of leisure, and broad prospects for future employment.
