Arduino programming master classes at the Department of Micro- and Nanoelectronics
Designing automated systems of various levels of complexity on the Arduino platform is a promising area of robotics development. Significant interest and demand for education in this direction among the general public (from 6 to 50 years old) was shown by master classes on the development of control systems based on the hardware and software of the Arduino department organized by the department held at the robotics festival on 01.10.17 «Green RoboFest», during the literary and artistic festival «Knyzhkova toloka» on 29.11.2017 and 30.10.17 – as part of the «Useful vacations» events under the auspices of the Department of Education and Science of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration and the center of scientific and technical creativity of youth «Polyt».
Department of Micro- and Nanoelectronics plans to continue holding workshops on Arduino programming. The dates and subject of the master class can be agreed by phone. 679-83-67.

The direction of training students at the Department of Micro- and Nanoelectronics is «Automation and Instrumentation» (code 15), which involves the acquisition of knowledge by students about microprocessor / microcontroller automated systems. At the initial stage of studying the relevant disciplines, the students of the Ministry of Science and Technology learn to develop simple systems based on Arduino, therefore, for better assimilation of information, the students themselves act as personal trainers-teachers in master classes, under the general guidance of teachers. The program of the master classes includes tasks of varying degrees of complexity – from the assignment of the operation mode of LEDs (traffic lights, RGB), receiving information from various sensors (37 types) to the design of control systems for various actuators – executive technical objects/mechanisms (for example, engines depending on the readings of the sensors), development of limited access systems, security systems, lighting systems, and other automated systems.
