Course on tactical medicine and mine safety «Non-peaceful skills of a civilian»
From April 1 to May 27, Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic students took a course on tactical medicine and mine safety «Non-peaceful skills of a civilian» from the public organization «Dorechni»
Every Monday for two months, together with training instructors – qualified paramedics who have experience in all areas of emergency situations – participants mastered vital first aid skills. They learned about the basics of tactical medicine, got acquainted with the types of mines and explosive devices, studied the procedure and rules of behavior in case of detection of such threats.
Students consolidated theoretical knowledge with practice, learned to act correctly in extreme conditions and provide assistance in critical situations.
During the last class, the participants successfully passed the practical exam and received the relevant certificates.
The course was created with the financial support of the «Smistovno» project. The event was organized by the public organization «Dorechni» with the assistance of the students’ trade union committee and the student self-government of the university.
We thank the NGO «Dorechni» for the initiative and implementation of an interesting and useful project! In today’s realities, everyone needs such knowledge!
