Round table «Language is the soul of every nationality, its sacredness, its most valuable treasure»
The Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training invites everyone to join the round table «Language is the soul of every nationality, its sacredness, its most valuable treasure», dedicated to the International Mother Language Day and the 125th anniversary of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University!
The speakers of the round table are 1st-3rd year bachelor’s degree students and teachers of the Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Design, Faculty of Business Technologies and Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences.
The moderators of the intellectual and cultural event are associate professors of the Department of General Language Training Halyna Onufrienko and Iryna Voronyuk.
In program:
- scientific presentations on the linguistic phenomenon and the diversity of the world’s linguistic picture, the interaction of languages, the secrets of speech, dictionary masterpieces, dialect curiosities
- communication with the head of the department of scientific work of students about the priorities of projects in the business ideas competition «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» Snezhana Vychuzhanina
- interactive communication: linguistic quizzes, the game «Language fact or fake»
- virtual presentation of a book in Ukrainian about Iceland by a graduate of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic
- conversation with a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine about author’s projects
- recitation by pupils and students of poetic works by Ukrainian authors, translated into various languages
- guest locations in Zaporizhzhia secondary education institutions
