Round table «European Year of Skills: Achievements and Prospects»
On September 26, within the framework of the European Training Foundation — Skills Lab Expert Network project, a round table on the topic «European Year of Skills: Achievements and Prospects» was held. This event brought together experts from the Eastern Partnership countries to discuss the results of the European Year of Skills and the challenges facing Ukraine on its path to integration into the European space.
The Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University was invited to participate in this event, where one of the important issues for discussion was «Success Stories of the European Year of Skills.» In particular, examples of successful implementation of initiatives in Ukrainian educational institutions were given.
Pro-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Prospective Development Ruslan Kulikovsky made a report on the achievements of the university within the framework of the European Year of Skills initiatives, namely:
- joint forum «Skills of the Future»
- accreditation of the qualification center
- creation of conditions for the development of high-level digital skills (ZP EDIH)
- close cooperation with regional enterprises in the education sector through cluster interaction
- development of professional standards
- activity of the ENIN hub (energy saving skills)
In his report, he also emphasized the importance of the university’s cooperation with international partners, as well as with the National Agency qualifications.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University remains a reliable outpost in the development of human capital of the South-Eastern region of Ukraine, even in today’s extremely difficult conditions!
